Macedon & Daylesford Region

Our region is beautiful and diverse, from mountains and lakes, to wineries and breweries.

It’s rich with fantastic dining experiences, cute country pubs, delicious bakeries, charming boutiques and antique stores, and much more. We produce everything from jams and preserves, to fruit, olives, cheeses and meats.

A trip to the region could take you not just to Woodend, but to Mt Macedon, Hanging Rock, and the idyllic towns of Lancefield, Malmsbury, Riddells Creek, Daylesford, Hepburn Springs, Trentham, Kyneton and Castlemaine.

While we’re just a short drive from Melbourne (between one and two hours depending on your destination), many of these towns are also accessible by train.
